6th Annual Waldo Crawldo Pub Crawl presented by Scion set for June 12, 2010

One of Kansas City's favorite events -- the Waldo Crawldo Pub Crawl, presented by Scion -- continues to get even better with the addition of Waldo's newest bars. The Waldo Crawldo pub crawl will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Waldo (from 74th to 85th Street along Wornall Road). Over 3,000 people attended in 2009 and that number is expected to increase in 2010. They come to enjoy Waldo's renaissance as one of the best places in town to relax and enjoy a drink with friends.

This year's crawl includes the addition of two more locations in Waldo, Tommy Farha's and the Well, along with 12 other venues. One ticket includes admission to the original seven locations near 75th Street & Wornall Road -- 75th Street Brewery, Bobby Bakers, Kennedy's, Lew's Grill & Bar, Tanner's, The Well, Hannibal's Waldo Bar, and Waldo Pizza's the Tap Room. It also includes the venues added in 2009 near 85th & Wornall Road -- Tommy Farha's, Tasso's, Patrick's, The Piano Room, Swagger, and Walsh's Corner Cocktails.

The Waldo Crawldo is sponsored by Scion, Boulevard Beer, Leinenkugel's, Miller Lite, Captain Morgan, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Three-O Vodka, the Pitch, and the Waldo Area Business Association.

Waldo Crawldo tickets go on sale June 2 for $5 at any of the participating venues. They can also be purchased online for $7 until 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Tickets are $10 at any of the venues after 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Your ticket includes admittance to each venue and special drink and beer discounts. The ticket also includes bus service between the north and south Waldo venues. Most locations are within walking distance of one another. By having their ticket stamped at each of the venues, participants can win one of our eight grand prizes including their own "personal pub crawl."

Scion's custom cars, Captain Morgan and the Morganettes, and the Three Olive Girls will be in Waldo on the night of the crawl. All ticket proceeds will go towards the Waldo Fountain Fund & Waldo Area Business Association.
